TBJJ Beginner Program

Monday,Wednesday,Friday 4:00-5:00 PM

TBJJ-Beginners program is designed to prepare each student with all the fundamental aspects of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ),by going over each primary movement that will lead to development and better understanding of what will be the stepping stone for the TBJJ Advanced Program.

The acquisition of this ability is paramount to your progress in BJJ. If you train without the ability to relax, sooner or later you will become exhausted or over trained, and more likely than not, injured. It’s been proven that people learn fastest when they are relaxed.

That’s the reason why it is crucial for a new student to join our School starting with our TBJJ Basics Program.

The new student will have enough time to focus on learning thoroughly the essence of BJJ and so the transition into the Advanced Program will be much smoother.

TBJJ Advanced Program

Monday - Friday 6:00-8:00 PM

While the TBJJ Basics focuses on the fundamentals and core principles of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the Advanced Program is built on high-level techniques and drills essential to the development of motor skills, speed and response to the diversity of endless movements that are the key for success to this enthusiastic Martial Art called Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. After a few months in the TBJJ Advanced Program students typically experience a deeper involvement in TBJJ’s  philosophy, a stronger bond with training partners as well as more discipline and commitment to healthy habits that keep them in good shape. Advanced Program classes are based on a defined class structure and curriculum that take a broad and open-minded approach, incorporating techniques from different grappling styles like wrestling, judo.

Competition Team

Black Belt professors and Brown belt Instructors are always on site to ensure the high level techniques and training to Advanced BJJ practitioners, and at some extent, apprentices at this advanced level, who are capable to carry out, execute and respond to the drills one on one with teammates who are State, National and even World Champions on a regular basis here at Tucson Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (TBJJ).

Active “rolling” at the end of each class will prepare for competitions and better development for challenges we face on our personal lives.
